Why no registerMessageHandler on AIR side? 7 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
In Java, I can register a Message Handler for each message type who comes across, however I don't see that capability within merapi for AIR. It seems at first glance, I have to parse and send different message type results to different handlers myself on AIR side, where on Java it is cleanly separated for me. Why is this?

Thanks.

I agree with this. Why do we only have one resultHandler on the AIR side, when you can register a separate IMessageHandler on the Java side for each type of message?

I know it shouldn't be hard to implement this functionality myself e.g. as a subclass of BridgeInstance . I just think that this is one of those pretty odd inconsistencies between the AIR and the Java side of the Merapi API. Both sides should work and look the same as far as possible imo.
